Rates & Insurance


  • A retainer fee of $250 is required for the initial case file review, phone consultation about that interview and development of tentative plan on how to move forward.

 A  prepayment of $100.00 for services before attending virtual meetings and reviewing records on behalf of your child. This fee covers the cost of initial file review and phone or email  consultation in preparation for the meeting  about your child. 

Services to attend virtual school meetings, to meet by phone or online to go over materials, to prepare materials for presentation at meetings and/or to write reports, and to speak with school staff on behalf of your child are billed at $75.00 per hour.  

Assisting parents in writing state complaints, due process hearing requests or attending virtual MDR, mediation, resolution meetings is billed at $100. per hour including time to assist in parent writing a preparing needed documents. (See Disclaimer)

I also offer a free 45-minute initial consultation by phone or email.  

Therapy and counselling
Counselling services are provided for children and adults.  The hourly rate is $125.  The cost of the initial 90 minute intake interview is $150.00. (Due to COVID regulations such services will be provided virtually, online)  At time time therapy is provided only for education related issues such as school anxiety, school phobia, ADHD guidance, special post-secondary transition planning.


I am not on any insurance panels at this time and I do not submit bills for payment on your behalf.  .  Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. I will give you a bill with the codes needed for insurance reimbursement that you can submit. Health insurance companies usually do not pay for services related to educational needs.  They may pay for ADHD testing but not for assessment of current educational achievement.  Services in the table above that have CPT codes are usually reimbursed by health insurance and health savings account programs.

Cash, check,  and Paypal accepted for payment. At our meeting you will receive a bill with needed codes to submit to your insurance company.  To protect your privacy and meet HIPPA compliance those codes are not provided on the Paypal invoice. The Paypal invoice appears as EPCS. 

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy or testing  appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of a one hour session. Late arrivals will shorten your session time, time that is reserved for you.

Online payment

To pay for required advocacy services initial meeting deposit and file review click the buy now button. It takes you to Paypal to pay.  There you can use Paypal or through Paypal your debit or credit card. Services are billed as EPCS to protect your privacy and maintain HIPPA compliance. If you have privacy concerns make certain to use a private email address for payment not one from your business address.
